The Lincoln Hills Foundation is offering an opportunity to get your
favorite family recipes published!
We all have memories of making something special for children and grandchildren and even food that our own mothers and grandmothers made for us. The Lincoln Hills Foundation is creating a community cookbook that will feature recipes that our residents have been making to the delight of their families over the years, and now you have a chance to share these recipes with friends and neighbors as well.
The Salt Mine receives a $10,000 donation from the Lincoln Hills Foundation to help meet the needs of this community. The donation is the second additional $10,000 donation, beyond the standard grant, within the last year from the Foundation due to the ongoing need for food and supplies.

Due to the COVID-19 virus, the Lincoln Hills Foundation has put Bingo in the Ballroom on hold until it is determined that large group gatherings are considered safe again.

Sun City West residents have been able to play BINGO in their own community since June, 1980. By state law, a sponsoring organization has to be 2 years old. PORA was organized in May, 1978. BINGO, in addition to being a fun night out, is also a fundraiser. PORA has supported organizations such a PRIDES, Sun City West Foundation, Helping Hands and Community Fund of SCW. BINGO proceeds go toward sponsoring community events with these local agencies or donations are given directly. BINGO, now on Monday nights at 6pm usually yields 300-350 players.
Sun City Elks Bingo
Monday nights Bingo is open to the public and a winning night out for everyone!. BINGO takes place each Monday at the RH Johnson Social Hall. Doors open at 4:30. Players must be 18 to play. $1000 progressive jackpot.
