Jerry’s Nugget is a casino located in North Las Vegas. The surrounding neighborhood is rather depressed and dilapidated, and a drive through the Las Vegas homeless corridor is required to get to it from downtown Las Vegas. It typically attracts a working-class crowd, which is reflected in the lower limits posted on tables and small denominations on video poker and slots.
Guests that arrive by taxi will need to find another way out of Jerry’s Nugget – cabs do not stage there. Guests can walk across the street to the Palomino Club for a taxi or use a ride share service.
There is little to do at Jerry’s Nugget besides gambling; there is not even a hotel. There is a 24-hour café and a nightclub that is open on weekends catering to residents. Otherwise, gambling at the casino is the only attraction.

Jerry’s Nugget is most well known for its low limit table games. Players will find $2 craps and $3 blackjack. The craps offers double odds with the field paying double on 12. Blackjack is dealt out of a continuous shuffle machine at all tables. Players can double down before and after splitting. With that said, a double deck blackjack game is often spread on weekends or upon request. The minimum for this table is typically $10.
There is a $2 double zero roulette table and a $2 Ultimate Texas Hold’em table. It is the only one in the Las Vegas Valley with a minimum bet under $5.
The maximum bet for table games at Jerry’s Nugget is $200. The exception is Ultimate Texas Hold’em, where the cap is $25.
Video Poker
The best video poker game at Jerry’s Nugget is Not-so-ugly Deuces Wild (99.73%). It is in the quarter denomination. There is also Double Deuces Wild (99.62%). This game uses quarter coins. It also accepts bills, though $100 bills only work if they are older ones. Other quality video poker games include White Hot Aces (99.57%) and 9/6 Jacks or Better (99.54%). These games use only coins and do not have a bill acceptor at all. Slot attendants are available to sell rolls of quarters to players.
Loose Deuces, Bonus Poker, Double Bonus and Double Double Bonus are also games that return over 99%. These games are spread from quarters up to the $2 denomination.

The Jerry’s Nugget keno lounge has a sign notifying patrons that no more than $1 in change is accepted per transaction. That change cannot contain more than 10 pennies.
Moreclub Player Program
Moreclub is the players card for Jerry’s Nugget. It is exclusive to the property. Players receive $1 in comps and another $1 in free play for every $1,200 wagered on slots and video poker. Active players will receive mailers that include free slot play, free table game bets and food comps at Jerry’s Famous Coffee Shop.
Free table game play is printed on the Moreclub kiosk. Free slot play is withdrawn directly from the machine. However, video poker and slots that operate on coins do not permit free slot play. It is still earned on these games.

Jerry’s Famous Coffee Shop is the only dining option at Jerry’s Nugget. It is open 24 hours a day. The menu is expansive. Breakfast items include steak and eggs, ham and eggs, biscuits and gravy, omelets, breakfast sandwiches and Huevos Rancheros.

The lunch menu consists of salads, soup, sandwiches and burgers. Dinner entrees include chicken, pork, steak, seafood and Jerry’s famous prime rib. There is also a Mexican and Greek section, too.
There are two special menu items on Fridays and Saturdays. Steak and shrimp is $13.89. Steak and lobster is $19.89. It includes soup or salad, choice of potato, vegetables and toast.

The only entertainment option outside of gaming is the Royal Street Theater. This is a club that opens on weekend nights. There is a dancefloor and full bar. Otherwise, the sportsbook bar is the only other lounge area at Jerry’s Nugget.
